Submission Guidelines

We read every submission carefully. To give your article the best chance of being accepted, please follow these guidelines before you send anything our way. They are not arbitrary — each one exists to protect the quality of what our readers receive.

  • 1
Original content only — never published before
We do not accept articles that have appeared on any other website, blog, or publication. Your submission should be written exclusively for WellbeingDrive. We run every article through plagiarism detection before publishing.
  • 2
    Minimum 1,000 words — we prefer 1,500 to 2,500
Short articles rarely serve readers well and tend not to rank on search engines. Aim for depth. Cover your topic thoroughly, use subheadings to organise ideas, and write the kind of article you would actually want to read yourself.
  • 3
Evidence-based claims — cite your sources
Health content carries real responsibility. Any factual claim — statistics, medical statements, research findings — must be supported by a link to a credible source: a peer-reviewed study, a recognised health body, or a reputable medical institution. We do not publish unsupported health claims.
  • 4
Links: one in-article link, one in your bio
You may include one relevant do-follow link within the article body. It must link to a resource that genuinely helps the reader — not a sales page. Your author bio may include one additional link to your website or professional profile.
  • 5
    No promotional or advertorial content
We are a health resource, not an advertising platform. Articles that exist primarily to promote a product, service, or brand will be declined. If your main goal is brand promotion, we offer sponsored content opportunities separately — contact us.
  • 6
Submit as a Google Doc or Word document
Send your article as an editable document, not a PDF. Include suggested H2 subheadings within the text. Include your author bio (2–3 sentences), your professional title, and any credentials relevant to the topic.
  • 7
    Exclusive rights for 90 days
Once published on WellbeingDrive, do not republish the article elsewhere for a minimum of 90 days. After that period you may republish with a canonical link pointing to the original on our site.

What We Accept vs. What Gets Declined

We Love
  • Practical, actionable health guides
  • Evidence-backed claims with cited sources
  • Personal expertise drawn from professional practice
  • Clear explanations of complex health topics
  • Original research or unique angles on trending topics
  • Well-structured content with proper H2/H3 headings
  • Articles addressing underserved health questions
  • Honest discussion of health challenges and solutions
We Decline
  • Previously published content (anywhere)
  • Promotional or advertorial writing
  • Unverified or dangerous medical claims
  • Generic content with no original insight
  • AI-generated filler without human expertise
  • Excessive or irrelevant links
  • Content below 1,000 words
  • Plagiarised or spun articles
We use plagiarism detection on every submission. Content that triggers a high similarity score will be returned without review, regardless of the topic. Save everyone’s time and only submit work that is entirely your own.

How to Submit Your Health Guest Post

Submitting to WellbeingDrive is straightforward. We do not require a pitch before submission for most topics — you can send your completed article directly. Here is how the process works from start to publication.

1
Write your article
Follow the guidelines above. Aim for 1,500+ words with clear subheadings, cited sources, and a strong opening that tells the reader exactly what they will learn. Your author bio (2–3 sentences) and one in-article link should be included in the document.
2
Email your submission
Send your completed Google Doc or Word document to contact@wellbeingdrive.com. In the subject line write: Guest Post Submission — [Your Topic]. Include your name and any professional credentials in the email body. Previous writing samples are welcome but not required.
3
Editorial review (3–5 business days)
A member of our editorial team reads every submission. We will reply within 3 to 5 business days with one of three outcomes: accepted as submitted, accepted with revisions required, or declined with brief feedback.
4
Revisions (if needed)
If we request changes, you will receive specific, clear feedback. Most revisions are minor and can be turned around quickly. We do not request rewrites that fundamentally change your argument or voice — only changes required for accuracy, clarity, or guideline compliance.
5
Publication and live URL
Accepted articles are published within 3 to 7 business days of final approval. You will receive the live URL on the day your article goes live so you can share it with your own audience. Backlinks are in place from day one.
We receive a significant volume of submissions and respond to every one of them. Please do not send follow-up emails within the first five business days. If you have not heard from us after seven business days, a brief follow-up is welcome.

Who Should Write for WellbeingDrive?

Our readers are real people making real decisions about their health — what to eat, how to move, what products to trust, what symptoms to pay attention to. That means we want contributors who are genuinely knowledgeable, not just people who know how to write around a topic.

You are an ideal contributor if you are any of the following:

Registered Nutritionist or Dietitian Certified Personal Trainer Dermatologist or Aesthetician Mental Health Professional GP or Medical Doctor Physiotherapist Health & Wellness Coach Evidence-Based Health Writer Pharmacist Fitness Influencer with credentials Skincare Formulator SEO Health Content Creator

You do not need formal qualifications to contribute, but you do need genuine expertise — either professional training or well-documented personal experience. Lived experience in areas like mental health, chronic illness, weight management, or recovery is entirely valid here when presented with appropriate context and not as clinical advice.
